- I am (Ankara, 1975) an anti-capitalist social movement and labour activist/researcher. In my home country I actively involved in left party politics, labor, trade union and consumer movements, and co-published a national academic/political review. I wrote several articles -in both Turkish and English- over destruction of neoliberal capitalist restructuring. I hold a master degree in political science/international relations. My master thesis published with the title Global Governance and Transnationalisation of the State: Capitalist Restructuring of the Turkish Secondary Contender State through Governance Mechanisms (2010). Since 2004 I have worked as informal immigrant worker In Amsterdam. Besides I worked for Water Justice Project within the Transnational Istitute-TNI, and have advised to TIE-Netherlands for international trade union projects. Right now I am actively involved in Dutch trade union movement as an active member of the FNV Bondgenoten. Besides working for TNT Postservices on a parttime basis, advising TIE on project basis, and working as an on-call basis proofreader, I am trying to develop the idea of Social Network Unionism. And with this site aimin at actually putting it into the practice.
