- Human Rights activist in Iraq. Currently working on the Iraqi Social Forum process. I coordinate the Campaign to Save the Tigris River, a regional advocacy campaign to raise awareness about the negative impacts of Turkish and Iranian dams on Iraqi water resources. I also work with local NGO's in Suleimaniya on an advocacy campaign to stop honor killings and violence against women in Iraqi Kurdistan
