- Wouter Tebbens is co-founder and president of the Free Knowledge Institute. He achieved a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente. He has worked in project management functions in various organisations and has more than ten years experience in ICT projects and Free Software. In 2002 he founded the company xlocal.com (services on FS). In 2005 he initiated the FP6-funded SELF Platform to facilitate the collaborative creation of educational materials. He has participated in many initiatives to promote the use of free technologies. He aims to bring together interested parties to make a self-sustainable, long-lasting effort out of this.
