I would like to inform you that TNI and other organizations are actively looking for signatures from organizations, collectives and assemblies to a statement attached denouncing the response of EU countries to the Snowden revelations - both in humiliating a Bolivian President and failing to defend Snowden's right as a whistleblower and a seeker of asylum.

We believe that the EU's kowtowing to US demands and the right of Snowden to be a whistleblower free from persecution needs much more political support.

If you can persuade an organization or network to sign onto the statement, please send the signature to secretariat@tni.org by 17 July when we will re-release it.
