this is the reminder of the conference call tomorrow, Sept. 16th, we agreed to have for the further preparation of our meeting in Brussels (instruction for call see below or in the pad)

            Tuesday, Sept. 16th at 5 p.m. (CEST) - (instruction for the call see below or in the pad)

The main objective of this conference call is the further preparation of the meeting in Brussels after we have sent out the updated invitation with many logistical and organizational info two weeks ago. Due to the “deadline” for registration today and the open character of the invitation we have a good number of various networks who have confirmed participation and will give an overview tomorrow in the call. But it seems that there are people coming from very different groups and networks, from very different regions and locations.

We will also have to work on /discuss some of the open logistical/organizational details and find solutions there.
Furthermore, we should continue talking about the meeting, how to facilitate and have good discussions.
 
Thus, the agenda for the phone conference comes out of these tasks: 

Proposed agenda for the conference call of Tuesday, Sept. 2nd at 5 p.m. (CEST)
 
1. Introduction/Welcome (very brief info from the general Blockupy activist meeting this weekend, esp. on festival preparation the past Sunday/proposal for procedure again)l
 
2. Update on organizational matters for the meeting:
* overview of „registrations“ and on fund for travel costs (after tomorrow you will find a list of groups/networks registered so far in the pad) – missing confirmations and contacts yet
* information of location, food – what is organized so far, what needs to organized collectively
* open tasks:
- solidarity accommodation beyond Friday (which is guaranteed for those registered in hostel) – who can accept responsibility for that (gathering information etc.) and organizing something with people from Brussels
- request for invitation letters for border control
* last inviting letter /email/info for all that people from many regions/groups etc. have registered, where to find what, what to expect
* for your information: registration of young researchers on austerity protests from Netherlands and Denmark
 
3.  Preparing for the meeting:
* Friday night: how to have a productive, well thought through introduction/welcoming process
* Saturday: facilitation of Saturday: morning, work groups, closing plenary
 
4. Networking with Alter Summit meeting Thursday/Friday
 
5. miscellaneous and work agreements (next conference call, 23rd of Sept.)
