WSF 2015: Global Convergence of Resistances to Corporate Power

Looking forward to meet some of you in Tunis. Please see below the
activities that a global coalition of civil society organizations and
social movements (see list at the end of the email) are organizing in
Tunis. We would very much appreciate your participation in the discussions.

Attached you will find information on the several activities of the
Global Convergence of Resistances to Corporate Power being co-organized
by the Global Campaign and several movements/organizations in Tunis from
24 to 29 March 2015. We call your special attention and invite you to:
1) the *Campaign strategy workshops* which will be held on *Wednesday
25^th from 11:30am to 2pm and from 3pm to 5:30pm* always in the room
*I105-I104 *
2) the *Convergence Assembly* “Resisting and Building Alternatives to
Free Trade and Corporate Power: People and the Planet Before Profits”,
being co-organized on *Friday 27 March from 3pm to 5:30pm (room TBC)* by
the co-convenors of the Global Convergence and the co-convenors of the
Trade Space.
This process in being built for the past two months by a collective of
Campaign members and partners and it’s open for those who would like to
join it. Please find below the list of all current co-convenors of the
Global Convergence.
Besides the two public events, other moments to meet are:
1) the *WSF opening march on 24^th at 3pm* leaving from from the
Municipal Theatre to the Place des Droits de l’Homme. Let’s march
together with the Campaign banners and flags. As soon as we have a
meeting point, we will share it though this list.
2) the *preparatory meeting for the Convergence Assembly* will be on
Thursday 26^th from 5:30 pm to 7pm, place TBC close to the University.
