>> look for those low fare cards or telephone provider giving you acess to brasil at a reasonnably low fare ( so one hour of conversation costs  a few USD

-telephone  ( many countries can spend a long time on the phone with  a land telephone line in belem for a low cost , using  cards or special operators ) -

-instant messaging called "skype" ( a private firm that provides this basic service at no charge) -
