When When we do online meetings, we sometimes use Internet Relay Chat, or IRC.

When we use IRC, we use the OFTCnetwork, and we meet in channel #wsf. This can be written as: irc://irc.oftc.net/#wsf

If you've never used IRC before, you might need to set up an IRC client. If you're using a mozilla-based browser (e.g. Firefox), you can install chatzilla, which should make it so you can click on the link above to start the chat.

If you don't use a mozilla-based browser, you might be interested in pidgin, which is a chat client that works on both windows and linux. If you use Mac OS X, you might be interested in adium, which is a chat client for that platform.
