dear all, i read the meeting's transcript and i found that it was a very interesting conversation. on the decisions made and on my position about that i will say when the minutes and the proposals will be circulated to the list, but i just wanted to say something of a more general caracter. if we consider communication very central not only to the practices of the WSF but also to its politics and even more important to its values and "pedagogies", shouldn't it be of our interest also the way in which we communicate, the kind of communicative strategies we use and the dynamics we produce? Wouldn't it be good at some point to reflect to the "quality" of the conversation/communicationi that takes place between us and the more or less hidden (unconscious) patterns we generate? Isn't that after all the most ambitious and innovative attempt made by the WSF since 2001: allowing people to convene in an open space to communicate in a new way that instead of reproducing enslaving dynamics could generate emancipatory practices? I know we are pressed by time (of course) and we need to deliver, but i felt i would say this anyway as i saw, perhaps because i was not involved (and i might have misunderstood things) some pretty interesting dynamics in the conversation last night... anyway just a morning thought thank you again for all the work you guys put in last night ciao giuseppe
