I support NIGD to continue. Thanks to all who have taken care of this.

I am planning to go to Salvador. (not 100 %) My ideas for what WSF needs to address now include

- Why did we lose and what are the promising responses to authoritarian capitalism now ? Learning from Brazil, Bolivia, India, Poland, Turkey, Philippines, Egypt, Finland, USA, Greece etc

- My more narrow proposal is to work on how the civilisational politics of, for instance the Pablo Solon Foundacion, Gandhian socialists, Nordic ecologists and some of the indigenuous movements converses with the more economy centred and technology-optimistic pro-modernity left.

- Beccause of some of my current commitments in my city council I have practical interest in working with En comú (Barcelona) and others on the "Fearless cities" network to strengthen movement based agency of local authorities in world affairs - for instance local currencies, tax haven and TTIP free cities, safe havens for paperless migrants etc

I think Azril would be as good as anyone to go to IC for us.

Dear NIGD,

Thanks for reacting, I was horribly busy finishing a book (it
finally happened a few days ago) and letting too many things
aside. I think Matti's proposal is excellent and that is indeed
something NIGD has at least sometimes tried to do in the
process. Supposedly, the minutes and even recordings became more
openly distributed at some point, but there seems to have been
some lapse to the old bad habits in this sense.

I would be really happy to see other people getting involved in
representing NIGD in the IC. I have been doing it for such a
long time that it feels embarrassing. If needed, I can still
continue to do some part in that kind of role. but please do not
hesitate to suggest something else.

As NIGD, are we planning to do something in the next WSF, taking
place in Salvador (Brazil) on March 13-17?
