Alert! I was hacked. And a psycho-pervert is trying to blackmail me to no
avail. At my age, I have been granted enough time to look back at my life,
to acknowledge my mistakes, and to learn something valuable from each of
them 🧘‍♂️My reflection on the matter? Many years ago, Karl Mannheim
alerted us on the potential danger entailed by all technical and/or social
innovations. If used properly, they would benefit humankind. But if used
improperly, they would enhance the power o...f the few over the many.
Unfortunately, hacking is one example of the misuse of ICT. Another example
is the misuse of social media to promote the kind of racism, fascism and
authoritarianism we witness nowadays in so many countries in all corners of
the world. At least you are informed about me being hacked. You are giving
a choice to watch or not what my hacker was seemingly technically able to
intrude in my intimate space, in gross violation of my integrity. I was not
given that choice.
I will try to cleanse all of my email addresses in the next few days and
let you know.
Warm regards, one day prior to my return to the North Pole after an awesome
encounter with two of my children and their families, and my niece and her
family in Miami.
Some of them had not met in about 9 years! It was a glorious encounter and
no hacker can take that joy away.
