 “The Defense of Life from the Original Peoples” 

The struggle for Peace and against militarization,  

paramilitarization and the war of extermination

On the way to XIV edition in Mexico of the  

World Social Forum 2021-2022 

 

As well as to follow the transmission of the Virtual Forum that -within the framework of the commemoration of the 20 years of the World Social Forum as a counterpart of the Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland- will take place from January 25 to 30, 2021. 

Our entrance to the Facilitating Collective (2018), the creation of the Thematic Space of Ancestral Original Peoples and its permanence within the process towards the WSF-MX-2021-22, have been an achievement of the peoples themselves. Activities began with a series of face-to-face talks from the National Autonomous University of Mexico-UNAM (2019-2020) that were interrupted by the pandemic. And from September 2020 onwards, we have resumed virtually every two months with Online Dialogue Meetings, which include a brief presentation of the problems of each of the participating peoples (5 minutes each, 8-10 in total), based on which a group of 4-5 guests make comments and/or ask questions, ending with a dialogue between the peoples and guests that enriches the presentations, and that contributes to and facilitates greater communication, articulation and solidarity between native peoples from different parts of the world. 

 

Please indicate the full name of the speaker and how you would like to be presented, and in the case of participating peoples, send a very brief summary of your presentation (if you have already met these requirements, please ignore it). We have already done your registration and one day before the Meeting, on November 26th, we will send you via email the link to enter the Jitsi room with limited space (free software).
