  subregional forum on "Youth and SSE"  Mali Mauritania ( act487YJ) 

The RENAPESS Mali co-organized from 06 to 07 mars 2019, in Bamako, a subregional forum on "Youth and SSE" in the framework of the project “ Youth and the power to act (JPA) with the Mauritanian branch of the international solidarity Grdr Migration-Citizenship -Development.


The objective of the forum was to enable youth associations accompanied by the Youth and Power to Act (JPA) project funded by the European Union in Mali and Mauritania to better understand the benefits of the social and solidarity economy, take ownership of the concept and create a space for exchange and networking.

 

This first forum of its kind brought together some fifty organizations of society Mauritanian and Malian civil society to the area of knowledge experimentation and SSE practices for RENAPESS, located at the  Football for Hope Center from Mali Association for the promotion of the girl (AMPJF) in Baguineda, in the periphery of Bamako.

 

For two days the young participants, carrying ideas of social enterprises, social entrepreneurs in activity, students, graduates without jobs, exchanged, under the coaching of the leaders of RENAPESS, Grdr, CECI, the SSE national promotion support Center (CNAPESS) in Mali and local elected representatives of Baguineda, their experiences on very interesting topics such as:


  • - contribution of the social and solidarity economy to local development (The social and solidarity economy has many advantages for the local development, with focus on the territorialization of activities)
  • - similarities and differences in the practice of SSE according to the socio-cultural realities of territories in the subregion scale and beyond),
  • - the role of public authorities in the development and institutionalization of ESS.
  • - These animations were followed by a few visits of ESS companies and testimonials on the ground.

 

This exchange framework allowed to:

  • - Create a constructive exchange between the young people of the two countries on the issues of participation of youth in local development and the social and solidarity economy
  • - Identify lines of work between youth associations on the three themes addressed;
  • - Make a connection of Mauritanian and Malian organizations in society in the field of SSE;
  • - Start networking through the creation of a whatsapp exchange group.

 

The forum was closed with a general networking meeting at the Balla Fasséké Conservatory of Bamako sanctioned by a cocktail party in the garden in the presence of the President and RENAPESS Mali content managers, President of the Association of Student Clubs and Student Entrepreneurs (ACCE-Mali), also in charge of the youth and employment cluster of RENAPESS and the Youth Dynamics of RAESS and the leaders of Grdr Mali and Mauritania.

 forum sous régionale sur « Jeunesse et ESS » Mali Mauritanie

Le RENAPESS Mali a Co-organisé du 06 au 07 mars 2019,à Bamako, un forum sous régionale sur « Jeunesse et ESS » dans le cadre du projet Jeunesse et pouvoir d’agir  (JPA)  avec l’antenne mauritanienne de l’organisation de solidarité internationale Grdr Migration-Citoyenneté –Développement.

 

L’objectif du forum était de permettre aux associations de jeunes accompagnées par le projet Jeunesse et Pouvoir d’Agir (JPA) financé par l’Union Européenne au Mali et en Mauritanie de mieux connaître les avantages de l’économie sociale et solidaire, de s’approprier le concept et de créer un espace d’échange et de mise en réseau.

 

Ce premier forum du genre a rassemblé une cinquantaine d’organisations de la société civile mauritanienne et malienne à l’espace d’expérimentation des connaissances et pratiques de l’ESS pour le RENAPESS, situé au Centre Football for Hope de l’Association malienne pour la promotion de la jeune fille (AMPJF) à Baguineda, dans la périphérie de Bamako.

 

Durant deux jours les jeunes participants, porteurs d’idées d’entreprises sociales,entrepreneurs sociaux en activité, étudiants, diplômés sans emplois, ont échangé, sous le coaching des responsables du RENAPESS, du Grdr, du CECI, du Centre national d’appui à la promotion de l’ESS (CNAPESS) du Mali et des élus locaux de Baguineda, leurs expériences sur des thématiques très intéressants telles que :

 

  • - la contribution de l’économie sociale et solidaire au développement local (l’économie sociale et solidaire présente de nombreux avantages pour ledéveloppement local, avec focus sur la territorialisation des activités)
  • - les similitudes et différences dans la pratique de l’ESS selon les réalités socio-culturelles des territoires concernés au niveau de la sous-région et au-delà),
  • - la place des pouvoirs publics dans le développement et l’institutionnalisation de l’ESS.
  • - Ces animations ont été suivies par quelques visites d’entreprises d’ESS et des témoignages sur le terrain.

 

Ce cadre d’échanges a permis de :

  • - Créer un échange constructif entre les jeunes des deux pays sur les questions departicipation de la jeunesse au développement local et à l’économie sociale et solidaire ;
  • - Dégager des axes de travail entre les associations de jeunes sur les trois thèmes  abordés ;
  • - Faire une connexion des organisations mauritaniennes et maliennes de la société civile dans le domaine de l’ESS  
  • - Lancer le réseautage à travers la création d’un groupe d’échanges whatsapp.

 

Le forum a été clôturé avec une assemblée générale de réseautage au niveau duConservatoire Balla Fasséké de Bamako sanctionné par un cocktail dinatoire au jardin botanique en présence du Président et des responsables de contenus du RENAPESS Mali, du Président de l’Association des clubs d’étudiants et élèves entrepreneurs (ACCE-Mali), aussi responsable du pôle Jeunesse et Emploi du RENAPESS et de la Dynamique Jeunesse du RAESS et des responsable du Grdr Mali et Mauritanie.
