The session is co-organised by the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam Network and the 
Siemenpuu Foundation.

 "The World Social Forum has attracted internationally new interest and energies during the pandemic. It seems more and more people see the need for a space that brings various movements, thinkers and organisations together to build another world. The web-seminar on the occasion of the Finnish Social Form takes 
stock of the 20 years of the WSF journey and looks forward to the future of the WSF."

 El foro social ahora invita en línea

El 19º Foro Social Finlandés se llevará a cabo en línea el último fin de semana de agosto. El tema del evento es Ahora es el momento de actuar.

“El hito anual de la sociedad civil finlandesa se está implementando

este año también, a pesar de que la pandemia causó sus propias dificultades ”, dice la coordinadora del evento Taina Petrell. "Los actores cívicos ahora están organizando sus propios eventos en línea, y además de los productos de los grandes actores, las plataformas utilizan, entre otras cosas, software de código abierto Jits".

A lo largo del fin de semana, se llevarán a cabo más de veintidós eventos interesantes, todos los cuales podrán ser vistos de forma libre y gratuita. Los temas de discusión incluyen una economía sostenible, la resolución de la crisis ecológica y la política de defensa. El programa se puede ver aquí.

El Foro Social Finlandés no es una organización independiente, sino el resultado de la cooperación de numerosos actores de la sociedad civil. También forma parte de una red internacional de foros sociales. “Poner el evento en línea ha traído muchos desafíos nuevos, pero es gratificante que muchos de los que se inscribieron en la primavera se hayan unido ahora”, dice Petrell.

The social forum is now inviting online

The 19th Finnish Social Forum will be held online on the last weekend of August. The theme of the event is Now is the time for action.

“The annual milestone of Finnish civil society is being implemented

again this year, even though the pandemic caused its own difficulties, ”says event coordinator Taina Petrell. "Civic actors are now organizing their own events online, and in addition to the products of the big players, the platforms use open source software Jits, among others."

Over the course of the weekend, more than twenty-two more interesting events will be held, all of which can be watched freely and free of charge. Topics for discussion include a sustainable economy, the resolution of the ecological crisis and defense policy. The program can be viewed here.

The Finnish Social Forum is not an independent organization, but the result of the cooperation of numerous civil society actors. It is also part of an international network of social forums. “Bringing the event online has brought a lot of new challenges, but a delightful number of those who signed up in the spring have joined now,” Petrell says.

Le forum social s'invite désormais en ligne

Le 19e Forum social finlandais se tiendra en ligne le dernier week-end d'août. Le thème de l'événement est Le moment est venu d'agir.

«Le jalon annuel de la société civile finlandaise est mis en œuvre

cette année encore, même si la pandémie a causé ses propres difficultés », déclare la coordinatrice de l'événement, Taina Petrell. «Les acteurs civiques organisent désormais leurs propres événements en ligne, et en plus des produits des grands acteurs, les plateformes utilisent, entre autres, le logiciel open source Jits.


Au cours du week-end, plus de vingt-deux autres événements intéressants auront lieu, qui peuvent tous être regardés gratuitement et gratuitement. Les sujets de discussion incluent une économie durable, la solution de la crise écologique et la politique de défense. Le programme peut être consulté ici.

um social finlandais n'est pas une organisation indépendante, mais le résultat de la coopération de nombreux acteurs de la société civile.
