Pre-CCDA African Civil Society Consultative Workshop organizer PACJA PACA

(Supporting 40 participants across Africa)

The workshop aims to convene African Civil Society, Development partners, Media and other stakeholders within the continent in unpacking the Paris Agreement and developing key messages to CCDA VI and UNFCCC-COP 22. The Pre-CCDA-VI event ultimately contributes to Africa’s preparedness for COP 22 and beyond. this is in line with this year's CCDA VI theme

African Climate Change and Environmental Reporting Awards (hereafter ACCER Awards) is Africa’s premier environmental and climate change reporting program, run and founded by the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) in 2013. ACCER Awards aims at improving the African Narrative on climate change and raise the profile of Climate Change and Sustainable Development in Africa by recognizing the important role. This will be the third edition of the Awards

6th Climate Change and Development Conference in Africa

(Supporting participation of 20 African CSO representatives from across Africa)

The Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA) conference, conceived as an annual forum to enable linkages between climate and development policy and mainstreaming climate information into decision making, by enabling transparent discussions between key stakeholders in the climate and development community, provides a very good backdrop to strengthen capacities in climate change. This year’s theme will be “The Paris Climate Agreement: What Next for Africa?”. Key CSO messages developed during PACJA Pre-CCDA VI conference will feed into this process
