    *L'avenir de la planète vous tient à coeur ? Les défis de votre société vous
    préoccupent ? Vous voulez changer le monde ? Venez échanger avec des jeunes
    d'ici et d'ailleurs sur nos perspectives d'avenir et le rôle que nous
    pouvons jouer dans le monde qui s'ouvre à nous.*
    
    Cet évènement international rassemblera, via Internet, des jeunes
    activistes d'ici (Ottawa et Montréal), et d'Afrique (Tunisie et Togo) afin
    de partager leurs visions du militantisme, les défis qu'ils rencontrent et
    l'importance des forums sociaux pour se renforcer.
    
    Car en dépit de la spécificité du contexte politique, économique et social
    de chaque pays, la finalité des différentes luttes des jeunes à travers le
    monde demeure la même : construire un monde meilleur où leur voix sera
    prise en considération, un monde plus égalitaire où les droits fondamentaux
    des personnes seront respectés.
    Cette conférence est organisée à l'occasion de la journée d'ouverture du
    Premier Forum Social des Jeunes Tunisiens, à Tunis, http://<goog_1099065766>
    forumsocialjeunes.org   et en mobilisation pour le Forum social des peuples
    qui se tiendra à Ottawa du 21 au 24 aout 2014. Ces deux importants forums
    sociaux s'inscrivent dans une série d'évènements qui se poursuivront avec
    la tenue du prochain Forum Social Mondial en mars 2015 à Tunis, puis de la
    venue du Forum Social Mondial en août 2016 à Montréal.

    *Future of the planet interests you ? Social issues concern you ? Want to
    change the world ? Come and share yours opinions or ideas with young
    activists from here (Ottawa and Montreal) and Africa (Tunisia, Togo) on our
    common future and the role we can play to deal with the current power.*
    
    This international conference will bring together young activists from
    Ottawa, Montreal, Tunisia and Togo who will share their visions of their
    struggles. They will talk about the challenges they face, and the
    importance of social forums in linking youth initiatives, on regional,
    national and international levels.
    
    Despite the differences of the political, economic and social context of
    each country, the overarching goals of youth movements around the world
    remains the same: to built a better world where youth voices are heard, and
    to work towards equality, where the fundamental human rights of all are
    respected.
    
    This conference will take place on the opening day of the First Tunisian
    Youth Social Forum in Tunis,

    be in preparation of the People's Social Forum, which will be held in
    Ottawa between August 21-24th, 2014. These two important social forums are
    part of a series of events leading up to the next World Social Forum in
    March 2015 in Tunis, as well as the following World Social Forum in August
    2016 in Montreal.
