1. Raoni will liaise with UFPA and find out what they can offer in terms
of equipment, technical assistance, infrastructure.

He has suggested thatwe might need to offer them some kind of ´deal´, along the lines of making UFPA visible as an ófficial´ partner to the project, having their logo
visible etc. What do you think of this?

I have reservations about any thing that looks like ´sponsorship´, but at the same time we are dependent on their help and it´s not exactly Shell we´re talking about..."

3. Raoni will look for different ways to borrow equipment but it is likely
that some will need to be bought. Where does the budget for this come
from? Does Belex have a budget for equipment? I can liaise with Candyce
about possible support from Forum funds.
### note - I spoke to Candyce/Moema/Alda - apparently the Governo office
has guaranteed that they will provide equipment for 2 rooms, apart from
this there is no money available from the Forum. So any equipment that we
can´t borrow will have to be bought with money from elsewhere - what´s
your budget like?

4. Technical tests - Raoni will take on the logistical responsibility for
this but we need to contact the relevant groups to make test connections
with. Which groups wil this be? According to Alessandra you have been
talking about Rio, Stuttgart, Mexico and Forum Social da Periferia? Would
you be able to contact them to establish what they are planning to do,
using what techologies, and suitable times for scheduling the tests
(asking for a few alternative dates/times between January 8th and 20th).
If you can make the initial contact (in the relevant languages!) I can
systematize this information and synchronise at this end.

One more thing:
Spoke to Candyce/Alda/Moema - there will not be interpretation equipment
in the Belex rooms :(
