In 2013, the city of Semarang was chosen to join the “100 Resilient Cities” program, an alliance of world cities that boost resilience against and reduce vulnerability to climate change. This panel will explore the ideas and solutions put forward in Semarang’s 2016 City Resilience Strategy, which incorporates cultural, social, economic and psychological perspectives in how it responds to climate hazards
