People living in informal riverbank settlements in Indonesian cities face many threats -- eviction, flooding and inadequate infrastructure, to name a few. There is no consensus on an appropriate response to these settlements that considers the social, economic and physical impacts. This panel will bring together activists, NGOs, academics and residents to formulate a policy brief outlining the problems and proposing solutions.
