A tele encounter took place during one hour between a group in Hebron and a group in Baghdad

On September 28, solidarity  event  with Iraqi Social forum (ISF) in Palestine, around ten people from deferent organizations  in Palestine were participated in the event. the event aims to involve from away in the ISF and to support the forum and the Iraqi Civil society work in the current difficult situation in Iraq.
The participant connected by Skype with some Iraqi organizations who were part of the ISF process, the discussion focused on the role of the civil society organizations and the Social Movements in Iraq and in the region .
The democracy and respecting human rights are the one of the main topics that were discussed in the meeting.. and how to develop the process of the social forums in the region and developing the joint work in the region.

Ahmad  and 10 other Palestinian activists, from the offices of the AIC in Beit Sahour, had an exchange with several Iraqi activists about the role of social movements and youth in the Middle-East, and mainly Iraq. They emphasized the ISF as an important step to strengthen democracy.
