Where Zambia Social Forum was actively involved in the WSF process with Support from ACTION AID Zambia and Council of the African Social Forum. Forum, (ZAMSOF) through regional initiatives Proudly
African campaign and African Solidarity Caravan, is organizing half day
festival under the theme " Africa We
want" *in line with the African
Union Pan African vision of 2063 Agenda where Africa is envisioned to be
*"an
integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa,
driven by its own citizens and
representing a dynamic force in the global
arena"*.
Thus Zambians participating in the above mentioned activities will provide
a learning opportunity to re-connect, strategies, mobilise, inform and
celebrate with other Africans on African Freedom Day and its significance
to the African way of life.
The objectives of the celebration are to; contribute to a pan-African
culture of shared people-to-people solidarity on peace and Justice at all
levels; mobilise signatures on the expedition of the free movement of
Africans within Africa - borderless Africa. Mobilise signatures for the
petition demanding Swaziland to release political and civil rights comrades
who are under custody in Swaziland.

NB: Essential, I have attached two petitions one for expedition of free Movement in Africa-or rather borderless Africa and another one is demanding Swaziland to release political and civil comrades who are under custody in Swaziland. Soon will call for larger Preparatory meeting Zambia participation at 2015 SADC Peoples Summit to be held in Gaborone, Botswana from 13-16 August. This applies to National Social forum and other in pipeline projects…
