Preliminar report – end of the second day

·       50 participants present in  Kibera’s Rowaland Camp

·       Organizations and Networks from :  Brazil, Cameroon, Chile, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda

·       Focus of  these organizations -   sports for development and peace; woman’s rights and empowerment ; children’s rights – education;  youths empowerment ; solidarity economy; communication and education ;

·       Five  face to face presenters – speakers -  2 from Kenya; 2 from Brazil,  1 from Cameroon RAESS , 1 for Tanzania. 

·       Six  presenters in videos -   Argentina 1, France 1, Ecuador , 3,  Brazil 

·       4 projects in Kibera presented or visited 

•  attempts  and experience gaining on how to share content live with 60+ online participants  ( see list here ) 

   Two great Thematic Groups:

Group 1 – Sport for Peace + Youth Empowerment

Group 2- Social solidarity Economy+Sustainability + Territories Development + Story Telling

Action Plans -

Topics of  Amani Charter from Kibera   Recommendations for the WSF 2020 (DRAFT)

• 1-     Communicate SSE among youths in Africa 
• 2-     Connect African and afro descendent youths
• 3-     Use art  to convey messages
• 4-     Connect schools, universities and  community movements  for developing the  territory
• 5-     Connect with ancestral knowledge but with critical thinking
• 6-     The power is in people collaboration not in money
• 7-     Build communities
• 8-     Build sustainable cities  with youths

 The organizations and young participants felt that the WSF, RIPESS and the Campaign for a Global Curriculum of the Eco Sol, which brings us all together, have interest in the participation of Africa Joven and the African Dispora in Barcelona 2020. http://transformadora.org/en/index

We must continue and support the action plans that were outlined, because it seems to me that maybe their products can be presented and debated at the WSF 2010

• 1) Consolidation of the participation of countries and young Anglophones in RAESS - Responsible - Elise - RAESS Cameroon, Rosemary - SHE Tanzania, Robert - Uganda), Robert RDE Recreation for Development and Peace, Uganda) thematic/action group2
• 2) Increase in the quality of schools in Kibera with a Brazilian partnership (reflecting an increase in the quality of schools in São Paulo and other Brazilian cities with Kibera parish) - Responsible: Walter, Blessed School Academy, Patrick, Streams of Hope, Kibera, Ben Ooko, Amani Kibera-Kenya, Cristina-writer, Madza CECIP-BR- possible participation of the Movement for the Transformation in Education - Brazil- Helena and Brazilian Global Curriculum Schools thematic/action group4
•  3) Empowerment of women and girls in social solidarity economy in Kenya (Responsible - Hamida, Malyun, Leah and Margareth - Amani Kibera, Kenya, with possible participation of networks such as Red Lases, and Heloisa (Switzerland-BR-AR) thematic/action group3
•  4) Strengthening the network of Sports for Peace organizations in Africa with a focus on Youth. Responsible: (Francis YYSA and Ben-Amani Kibera -Kenya)  thematic/action group1
•  5) Creation of a Communication group that will develop platforms to allow communication and coordination between the teams responsible for the other plans) may be presented in 2010. Responsible: young communicator from Kibera, Kenya, young people from Kibera trained for Rui. Cutting and Sewing of Ideias, Brazil, with the possible support of Silvia and young Afro descendants who speak CECIP English - OI Kabum, school or art and Technology) thematic/action group6

In addition to these plans there are other joints that will not remain registered, for example:

• * Organization of Agents of the Public Security of Kibera -Kenya + Mov. Restorative justice - BR)
• * Organization of Women against Violence with oen Kenya + similar organization in Brazil
• Universities of Kenya, Tanzania and Cameroon + Universidad Politecnica Salesiana- Ecuador
• * University of Tanzania, SHE Tanzania + Ancestral Pharmacy Ecuador-AR-IT.  thematic/action group5

Les organisations et les jeunes participants ont estimé que le FSM, le RIPESS et la Campagne pour un programme mondial de l’Eco Sol, qui nous réunit tous, ont unintérêt pour la participation d’Africa Joven et de l’Afric Dispora à Barcelone 2020. http://transformadora.org/fr/index

Nous devons continuer et soutenir les plans d'action qui ont été décrits,  leurs produits pourraient peut-être être présentés et débattus au FSM 2010.

• 1) Consolidation de la participation des pays et des jeunes anglophones à RAESS - Responsable - Elise - RAESS Cameroun, Rosemary - SHE Tanzania, Robert - Ouganda), Robert RDE Loisirs pour le développement et la paix, Ouganda) thematic/action group2
• 2) Augmentation de la qualité des écoles à Kibera avec un partenariat brésilien (reflétant une augmentation de la qualité des écoles à São Paulo et dans d'autres villes brésiliennes avec la paroisse de Kibera) - Responsable: Walter, Académie de l'école bénie, Patrick, Streams of Hope, Kibera, Ben Ooko, Amani Kibera-Kenya, Cristina-écrivain, Madza CECIP-BR - participation possible du Mouvement pour la transformation de l'éducation - Brésil- Helena et des écoles brésiliennes d'enseignement du curriculum  thematic/action group4
•  3) Autonomisation des femmes et des filles dans l'économie sociale et solidaire au Kenya (Responsable - Hamida, Malyun, Leah et Margareth - Amani Kibera, Kenya, avec la participation possible de réseaux tels que Red Lases et Heloisa (Suisse-BR-AR)   thematic/action group3
•   4) Renforcement du réseau des organisations de Sports for Peace en Afrique, axées sur la jeunesse. Responsable: (Francis YYSA et Ben-Amani Kibera - Kenya)  thematic/action group1
•  5) La création d'un groupe de communication qui développera des plates-formes permettant la communication et la coordination entre les équipes responsables des autres plans) pourrait être présentée en 2010. Responsable: jeune communicateur de Kibera, au Kenya, jeunes de Kibera formés pour Rui. Coupe et couture d'Ideias, au Brésil, avec le soutien possible de Silvia et des jeunes Afro-descendants qui parlent CECIP en anglais - OI Kabum, école ou art et technologie) thematic/action group6

En plus de ces plans, il existe d'autres articulations possibles, par exemple:
