"MORE INFO"  VERSION OF CALL/ INVITATION  TO USE TCS

More info  is in blue :

13 Thematic online spaces (TCS1 to TCS13) have been set up in APSF process https://www.asiasocialforum.net/tcs  and  are aligned with 13 WSF2024 umbrella themes https://wsf2024nepal.org/theme

Guidelines for the use of TCS are suggested  in https://www.asiasocialforum.net/tcs ( part B). Each TCS may have one or two moderators that are expected  to  stimulate the use 1  and monitor the use 2, ( see below)  along guidelines, and answer questions by participants present in TCS about “how to participate towards and in WSF2024 event, whether in person or online”

Thematic spaces gather APSF/WSF participants interested in:

Use 1/ Sharing and receiving invitations to participate in, or codesign “activities”, broadly or partly related to the corresponding umbrella theme,  https://wsf2024nepal.org/schedule

Participating organisations present in the TCS are welcome to use the online thematic space to organise other activities amongst themselves and register them accordingly. Activities are announced in WSF2024 event website  https://wsf2024nepal.org/activities  taking place in the  event on 16-18 february 2024 and those held towards the event, described in WSF process website : https://join.wsforum.net/wsf-activities , or elsewhere

Use 2/ Preparing the unique 2 hours thematic panel for their theme, to be held in one the mornings of WSF2024 event in a big venue  :https://wsf2024nepal.org/schedule

Each TCS can discuss the speakers names and design for the morning panels, and nominate one or two moderators to take this forward. The Thematic Panel can be  prepared by a self organized Thematic Panel Group (TPG) that is started through consultation in the TCS, has a public and inclusive composition, and operates in contact with the other participants present in the TCS, along following suggested guidelines : https://www.asiasocialforum.net/wsf2024-thematic-panels ( part C)

Thematic Space  TCS is an ONLINE preparation space. As per the macro program schedule https://wsf2024nepal.org/schedule , there is not an equivalent “PHYSICAL  thematic space” in WSF2024 venue, with a coordinated program of activities held in it . TCS is plainly a digital place where to stimulate anticipated self organizing of  activities / assemblies / forums/ panels,  held in WSF open space, and  that are significantly or partially related to the umbrella  theme of the TCS

Thematic spaces can be accessed by those interested by  use 1 and use 2  through the form https://www.asiasocialforum.net/join, with now a requisite to be associated with an organization that is registered in WSF2024 website: https://wsf2024nepal.org/organization-registered-in-wsf
