in this page it would be essential to make the first colum  with links

i-e SASFEV00015 would bear a link to the display page url of SASFEV00015 form with all fields displayed except the personal data, so that anyone can see what other people have proposed in sasf

2- a url for each event/registered

ideally the display page would have a url ending with  SASFEV00015 so that people could send the url of their activity to other people

Event/Activity Registration Form for Local activity:

 (face to face locally + remote collective participation to dhaka activities enlarged on internet)

the header can change to : 

You are about to register an event/activity outside dhaka during sasf days 18 - 22 November

Local event can be a face to face meeting about topics in sasf themes ,  or it can be a collective remote participation to  activities in dhaka that are enlarged on internet ( live video out of dhaka,and text chat input towards dhaka )

Item 7 Change of formulation in the drop down menu

in the registration drop down menu   'the name   “registration form for distance local activity” can be changed to  “registration form for local activity outside Dhaka”

Event/Activity Registration Form for extended activity

 (Live video chat between two or more groups)

 

can be changed to : 

You are about to a  distance encounter  activity, i-e a video chat session  between one local group outside Dhaka and one group in Dhaka university  (*)

The simplest way is to make appointment with a person you know that will be in sasf Dhaka, and she will bring other people to video chat with your group - ( if you do not know anyone write to extension team  sasfbd.extension  gmail.com )

Special rooms equipped for video chat will be available in Dhaka university -  they will be attributed by extension team  on a first come first served basis

 (*) it can be also with another local place participating in sasf extended

Item 9 Reviewing the header of Dhaka event registration case

You have the option to participate in SASF extended( link to OC invitation)  by choosing YES in  the option to enlarge your activity  through video streaming on internet + chat  see below in the form -

This enlargement  will not change the dynamics of your face to face meeting ( no screen, no noise ) and require two peson and two  laptop computers .  It will allow  remote participation of  people outside dhaka –

Sasf extension team is making available rooms connected to internet that will be attributed to activites on a first come first served basis

After registering you can promote your event activty proposal  by finding its url page in the registration list  and sending it in your email messages to your networks

Item 10 Add a column “enlarged?” In the three event lists

now an important point

it is necessary to add a column   "enlarged" in the  event list  -http://www.wsfsouthasiabd.org/register/index.php/event_list

so that extended participants  away from Dhaka can see if the activity in Dhaka will be enlarged or not the column can show  no  yes  maybe

this added column can be present also in the distance encounter and local event lists - since they also can enlarge

 

item 11 5 cases page headers and links ( see item 3)

in that page we can add the two titles  you are in Dhaka   above case 1 and 2 and you are out of Dhaka  case 345

also in case 1 we can add a sentence with a link to event list : “see here which activities/events in Dhaka are announced as enlarged by their organizers”

in case 2 the sentence “collective distance encounter” could lead to the  distance encouner list

in case 3 the first “local activity”  occurrence can lead to local -list

in case 4 the first “distance encounter” occurrence  can lead to distance encounter list

in case 5 the "centric activities in Dhaka which are being enlarged on internet by their organizers"  can lead to event list

and a sentence can be added  " you can declare this collective remote participation as a local activity  ( link to register local event)

Item 12 Capacity to edit two links per form and give two comments to contextualize the links

yes also  add the capacity to edit a link or two in each form with possibly a comment field to explain what is this link  - having two link and two comment fields could allow organization to give valuable information  in their form and make the display of form an interesting  navigating exercise

item 13 extended individual and extended organization registration

finally the issue of extended individual and organization registration remains open

initial suggestion is to add a simple field “ i will be in Dhaka” /  yes no at the end of the personal or organizational data section  and exempt those that say “no” to pay and to fill the following field

that woud be the most elegant way to go

item 14 making extended participation visible in the event lists

the individual and organization list would have a column showing the “In Dhaka”   yes/no status

and in the registration list page we could have the number of total individual participant sand the number of extended one

same for organizations

the total number of Dhaka activities and the number of enlarged ones

same for local and distance encounters
