(just go to any space and try to send a message on the mailing lists acessible in "mailing list" butto , ( select the mailing list then press orange button new message )

copy the adress of the partner or target mailing list  ,and copy one of more adress  of your spaces mailing list , so other people in your team are aware that you have communication with some partner
