Dear friends in Brazil,
thanks for confirming your proposal to accommodate the next IC meeting in
Brazil. Attac Germany is very much in favour to proceed in tis way. This
meeting has to discuss and to decide on the future of the IC and in this
respect on the future of the WSF. For this important debate we need a calm
and patient atmosphere. We are sure that our experienced friends in Brazil
would be able to organise this in an appropriate way. We agree to postpone
the meeting to September/October. Because of very many important politcal
activities in autumn let's very carefully discuss the precise date.

> Na última reunião do CI, nos dias 29 e 30/03 em Túnis, fizemos a
proposta enquanto coletivo facilitador da delegação brasileira de
organizar a próxima reunião do CI no Brasil. Em reunião em São Paulo no
último dia 15/04, o coletivo facilitador aprofundou a ideia e está
reiterando essa proposta para o CI.
> Para isso, queremos apontar algumas questões importantes:
> -          A realização dessa reunião do CI implica não só na
articulação de recursos para viabilizá-la mas também que o grupo de
transição tenha avançado na construção de propostas de reestruturação do
CI.
> -          Foram feitas 2 propostas de datas: julho ou setembro-outubro.
Achamos que as condições serão melhores para o mês de setembro ou o
final de outubro, e não em julho, tanto para conseguir recursos, quanto
para avançar no trabalho do grupo de transição, ou ainda em termos de
custo (alta estação em julho para as passagens de avião)
> Reiteramos nosso interesse em realizar a próxima reunião do CI-FSM no
Brasil e solicitamos, para tanto,  a aprovação do conselho nesse
sentido.

> Au cours de la dernière reunion du CI, le 29 et 30 mars à Tunis, nous
avons proposé en tant que Collectif facitateur de la délegation
brésilienne d?organiser la prochaine réunion du CI au Brésil. Lors de
notre dernière réunion à São Paulo le 15 avril dernier, le Collectif
facilitateur a approfondit cette l?idée et souhaite réaffirmer cette
cette proposition au CI.

> Pour cela, nous tenons à souligner quelques questions importantes:
> -         La réalisation de cette réunion du CI nécessite non seulement
la mobilisastion des ressources pour la rendre possible, mais aussi que
le groupe de transition avance de façon significative dans la
construction de propositions de restructuration du CI.
> -           2 dates ont été proposées : Juillet ou Septembre/Octobre.
Nous pensons que les conditions seront meilleures pour le mois de
Septembre ou la fin d?Octobre, mais pas en juillet, en raison de la
recherche de fonds qui est nécessaire mais aussi pour laisser le temps
au groupe de transition d´avancer dans son travail, et encore pour des
questions de coût (haute saison en Juillet pour les billets d?avion).

CI-FSM au Brésil et nous demandons donc l?approbation du Conseil dans ce
sens.
