The following platform is to be discussed. Comments are most welcome before thursday 5.6 at 14.00.

Stop the Ukrainan war and solve the European multiple crisis

The Ukrainian war is the result of growing social cleavages within and between countries in Europe in a time of a global financial and environmental crisis. We call upon all popular movements to stop this war and its roots domestically and internationally.

We demand:

- Stop the Ukrainian war - peace talks now between all stake holders.

- Stop austerity politics in Ukraine and all of Europe - raise the income for wage earners, small farmers, pensioneers and unemployed, tax the rich and capital income.

- Just transition by public, cooperative and private investments in rural and urban ecological and social renewal enabling a good life for everyone and coming generations.

The workshop:

All European Movement for Peace Democracy and Solutions, workshop n. 204

The workshop will take place Saturday 14-16 in hall TU-3, (trade union building). The purpose of the workshop is stated as:

There is a need in all of Europe for an international movement for peace, democracy, and constructiuve solutions to the multiple crisis against austerity, racism, and fascism. People from different movements from all parts of Europe needs to discuss how to stop war by bringing forwards solutions built on social justice and ecological awareness.

Prague Spring 2 Network also organizes the following workshop in Sarajevo:

Stop fascism in Europe, (n. 205)

Time and place: Saturday 16-18 in hall TU-3

Right wing extremism and populism is gaining strength in all parts of Europe. There is a need for exchange of experience and common action.

The Prague Spring 2 Network is a follow-up of the European Social Forum in Malmö 2008. The network organizes meetings with broad participation setting the right wing extremism and populism into the broader context of the social and ecological crisis. Participants come from all parts of Europe and different movements. Apart from meetings there are regular skype conferences every second week. Participants are especially active from social forum organizers in Hungary, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Russia, Austria and Sweden.
