Through experimenting with radically democratic forms of civic participation and lead by vibrant and independent social movements, Municipalist movements are reimagining the ways we do politics by taking back institutions that are closest to our daily lives and decentralizing how they've worked until now. In each of the case studies that we will be presenting on this panel, we will see how Municipalism has emerged not only as a strategy for leveraging power at the local level but also as a platform for rethinking the political in radical and imaginative ways.
