[1] G20 events scheduled before 13 November considered as preparatory.  They are likely to struggle for public attention and media coverage, for example, because the APEC Leaders’ Forum (Beijing) is scheduled for 10-11 November; http://www.apec.org/events-calendar.aspx, with China trying to entice APEC leaders to savour the specially-constructed APEC complex for another day (12 November); http://www.cityofbeijing.gov.cn/2014-09/03/content_18537383.htm. ASEAN Leaders Summit is scheduled to conclude in Myanmar on 13 November (see overleaf). Many G20 leaders from the Asia Pacific will travel directly from Beijing-Brisbane or Myanmar-Brisbane, as will their media & staff followers.
