Zindikila nidaka gkabaso contacts to, iii) another group of displaced women of mmisisi whose home were flooded in a periurban sttlement

they would be speaking with either delegates from their groups and other people those would have met  in dakar or  counterparts that need to be identified and contacted

• HOW DID IT  PROCEED?

Zambia had three connections organized with ZAMSOF Communication Commission 7-9 February, 3hours each: on 7^th we talked to people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHAs) from TALC, who also heard views from Senegalese and Nigerians; on 8^th we chatted with survivors of flooding in Kuku, Chawama and Kanyama compounds and also heard views from Europeans, Indians and Moroccans; on 9^th disappointingly the ZSCD failed to bring to Lusaka representatives of displaced people of Mazyopa and Palabana. However, we used the time to speak to WSF participants displaying goods in booths to show the atmosphere of the forum. We also chatted with Tafara and her colleagues from the USA Social Forum. All this has been published on wsf-extended website – copies of stream are available on Zambian Skype chat page (Daket En1 Zambia).

Dear ZAMSOF/SASFROC/FEMNET Colleagues,

  during the just ended Council meetings of ASF and WSF (8-11
November 2010), I tentatively I registered ZAMSOF/SASF/FEMNET as
would-be actors for the WSF-Extended activities.

I thought it necessary to register for this innovative event  because I
didn't want my constituency to miss out considering that all the
planning for this event will be done on listserve.

WSF-Extended is about holding self-organised activities outside the
campus of University of Senegal in Dakar (surburbs/shanty towns) and
holding discussions by a webcam link with grassroots audiences outside
Senegal in 3 locations (e.g. for SASF could be Lusaka, Harare,
Lilongwe, etc).

I tentatively registered 6 events for Dakar-extended
and about 8 webcam-links, in total.

Therefore, if any of the member organizations of ZAMSOF or SASF are
willing to undertake such activities please RESPOND directly to the
IC-WSF-Extended team with a copy to me. BUT also read for more details
