Dear Comrades,
My name is Daniel  community art mobilizer with a group of performing and visual artist Hoperaisers/Seismic Films.

In 2007 we were part of the organizers for the Nairobi WSF(Korogocho team a slum based in the eastern part of Nairobi Kenya) and also during the Brazil world social forum we organized an extension version in Nairobi Korogocho community social forum.

During 2011 we would be grateful to have such an event prior to the Dakar forum here in Korogocho with our main topic been in addressing the crime,violence and environmental pollution in our vicinity, through art, our main target will be the youths and the entire Korogocho community, including different key community stakeholders.

We are in the process of finalizing the plans and we will keep you posted on how we would like to participate in the Dakar Extended.
