Dear Damien, 

we are very glad about this decision! For Attac Germany I’ll reaffirm our support for this great event. The European Summer University of the European Attac Network in Toulouse (France) will give a first opportunity to start the mobilisation on a European level. 

The permanently in the WSF process involved organisations in Germany will meet in July to start the national preparatory process for Salvador. We all are very happy about this decision and thankful for your activities. For the necessary procedure (methodology seminar, IC meeting, etc.) dates in early or mid-September just after the vacation break would be convenient for most of the Europeans.

À Montréal, plusieurs organisations se préparaient déjà depuis quelques temps à organiser une délégation québécoise au FSM à Salvador.  Nous attendions votre confirmation.  Nous serons sûrement plusieurs dizaines d'organisations d'ici au FSM de Salvador.

Personnellement, j'espère aussi qu'il y aura un espace pour travailler à la mise en place de cette Assemblée mondiale des mouvements sur laquelle nous réfléchissons depuis le CI de MOntréal.

Em Montreal, várias organizações já estavam preparando desde algum tempo para organizar uma delegação de Quebec o FSM em Salvador. Estávamos esperando de sua confirmação. Certamente estaremos dezenas de organizações de aqui no FSM de Salvador.

Pessoalmente, eu também espero, haverá um espaço para trabalhar sobre a implementação da Assembleia Mundial dos movimentos em que refletimos no IC Montreal.

In Montreal, several organizations were already preparing to organize a Quebec delegation to the WSF in Salvador. We were waiting for your confirmation. We will surely be several dozens of organizations from here at the WSF in Salvador.

Personally, I also hope that there will be space to work towards the establishment of this World Assembly of Movements on which we have been reflecting since the Montreal IC.

A nous d'en faire un grand succès en nous mobilisant. Soyons attentif au renouvellement du processus des FSM. En Amérique Latine, le Forum Social Mondial des Migrations en novembre 2018, sera un moment de grande mobilisation par rapport aux provocations du président des Etats Unis. amicalement à tout le CI

The agreement of the Brazilian associations, in accordance with the request of the IC, give us the opportunity to make the World Social Forum of Salvador de Bahia a great success. It is up to us to mobilize for this success and to be attentive to the renewal of the WSF process. In Latin America, the World Social Forum on Migration in November 2018, will be a moment of great mobilization in relation to the provocations of the president of the United States.

La aprobación de las asociaciones brasileñas, en conformidad con la requesta del CI,nos da la posibilidad para conseguir el Foro Social Mundial en Salvador de Bahía con la movilización de nosotros.

Tenemos cuidado a la renovación del proceso del FSM.En América Latina, el Foro Social Mundial de las Migraciones en noviembre de 2018, será un momento de gran movilización contra las provocaciones del presidente de Estados Unidos.

Many thanks for the confirmation! I will certainly support by informing and mobilizing our movements and networks, especially those in China and Asia, to the World Social Forum of 2018. May I know if the document you sent can be made public among the networks, or should we wait for a "formal" document to announce WSF 2018?

Excelente notícia a realização do FSM em Salvador. Aproveito para informá-los que haverá em março de 2018, o Fórum Alternativo Mundial da Água também em março, em Brasília.

Muitas organizações da sociedade civil do Brasil e do mundo já estão envolvidas nesse processo. Seria bom que não houvesse coincidência nas agendas.

Da mesma forma nós estamos Mobilizados para o FAMA de 18 a 23 de março de 2018 em Brasília por isso mesmo o FSM ficou de 13 a 17 de março de 2018 em Salvador no sentido de que, os convidados internacionais de um evento possam estar no Brasil nas mesmas datas para participar do outro....

Da mesma forma estamos pensando em ter alguma agenda sobre o tema da Água que ajude o processo de mobilização conjunta... sigamos em contato!

Merci Damien pour ce message et cette décision des organisations et mouvements brésiliens.

Une décision courageuse et opportune. Non seulement elle est conforme à la décision du CI mais elle répond à un besoin et une nécessité politique urgente

La situation est grave, non seulement au Brésil, au Venezuela, en Amérique mais nous aussi nous continuons à vivre la tragédie de la Syrie, de l'Irak, du Yemen, de la Libye, du Liban et de Palestine... L'Afrique paie la facture d'une offensive néolibérale et autoritaire. Vous suivez certainement la recrudescence des mouvements sociaux de protestations et revendications sociales et politiques au Maroc et en Tunisie.

Cette situation nécessite plus que jamais la relance de la résistance et l'élaboration d'alternatives

Plus que jamais nous avons besoin de convergences et d'articulation de luttes pour un autre monde. Nous ne pouvons laisser notre jeunesse face à deux tragiques alternatives : le suicide pour rejoindre une Europe fermée ou le terrorisme de Daech.

Nous ferons tout ce qui est notre possible pour que l'étape de 2018 soit un tournant dans le FSM, comme cela a été un tournant lorsque nous avons décidé et bénéficié de l'appui du CI pour tenir le FSM 2013 en Tunisie

Thank you Damien for the message and this decision of Brazilian organizations and  movements.

A brave and convenient decision. Not only it is in accordance with the decision of the IC but it answers a need and an urgent political necessity.

The situation is grave, not only in Brazil, in Venezuela, in America but we too continue to face the tragedy of Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Libya, Lebanon and Palestine... Africa pays the invoice of a neoliberal and authoritarian offensive. You follow certainly the outbreak of the social movements of protests for social and political demands in Morocco and in Tunisia.

This situation requires more than ever the relaunching of the resistance and the elaboration of alternatives

More than ever we need convergences and articulation of struggles for another world. We cannot leave our youth  facing two tragic alternatives: the suicide to join  Europe or the terrorism of Daech.

We shall make all our best  that the stage of 2018 is a turning point of  the WSF , like is  was a turning point when we decided and benefited from the support of the IC to hold the FSM on 2013 in Tunisia

We follow the situation of Brazil and Latin America and there is a lot going on right now. And that's why this proposal is very welcome and an great initiative. 

We as Kurdish Network are going to join this WSF Bahia.
