About OpenFSM

OpenFSM.net is a platform for participatory social activism provided by the World Social Forum.

Whether your group is an organisation, a network, an ad hoc group preparing an activity for WSF 2008, or promoting a proposal for social transformation, OpenFSM.net can help you work collectively.

OpenFSM.net also helps your intercommunication with many other participants and groups in the ESF all working under the Charter of Principles of Social Forums .

OpenFSM is about making World Social Forum a continuous process.

With collaborative wiki pages and other tools within “projects”, you and your group can:

  • Present your cause in the project home page

  • Collaborate on writing documents with the wiki

  • Publish news in the project blog

  • Create and use mailing lists for the project team or a for a wider participant circle

  • Store and share files

  • Share to-do lists

  • Upload photos

  • Contact people and other projects

  • Each project space has their own path (I.e: www.openfsm.net/ProjectName)

  • and more…

OpenFSM.net promotes the open space philosophy. By default its pages and contents are public and open to every person working for another Europe and a better world; however each project hosted in the ESFOpen tool has the option to restrict its space only to its participants.

OpenFSM.net promotes Copyleft. The contents of the Open ESF are licensed under Creative Common Share Alike Licence unless a specific document specifies another licence.

If you need something else or you have any suggestion or question, please let us know . OpenFSM.net is using a fast evolving software platform called OpenCore developed by The Open Planning Project.
