This message confirms that the next WSF International Council meeting will
be held in Montreal, Canada, and will take place from *October 06th to 08th,
2009*, just before the Quebec Social Forum (from October 09th to 12th).

*CONFIRMATION OF ATTENDANCE AND SOLIDARITY FUND*

In order to prepare all the logistics of the meeting and the solidarity
fund, we request to all organizations to urgently confirm its participation
in the meeting.

We also ask all people from OCDE countries (except those from Mexico, South
Korea and East Europe) that will participate at the IC meeting to contribute
with at least 400 Euros. The resources raised with this fund will be used on
reimbursing partially costs of ticket and/or accommodation for participants
from the South, taking into account the following:

-           We will only accept requests for the solidarity fund sent until
*August 15th 2009*, always considering 01 person per IC member organization;

-           It is not possible to guarantee now the total refunding for the
ticket. The percentage of the refunding will depend on the amount collected
by the solidarity fund and the demands received. As usually, the
reimbursement will be done directly, during the meeting. The participants
that will be supported by the Solidarity Fund should bring copy of their
tickets.

*ACCOMODATION*
We are looking for a hotel where all participants can stay together in the
same place, and arranging lodging in double rooms for those who need support
with accommodation (always considering 1 person per IC organization). Soon,
we will be sending more logistic information and details.
