    Dear Friends,

Herewith a warm invitation to join us in the program entitled:
Paulo Freire and Human Survival in the Twenty First Century - organized at
    CEMUS, Uppsala University.

Given the bad experience at similar events with Bolsonaro's hackers, people
interested in joining us need to previously register at the enclosed link.

The first event will take place on Sunday 19/9 (18.30 - 19.30 Swedish time)
and has both symbolic and political value by joining similar celebration of
Paulo Freire's 100th Aniversary - and it is conceived to begin with as a
humble dialogue between Azril Bacal Roij (formerly member of the Paulo
Freire Institute (IPF) in São Paulo and the International Council of World
Education Forum) and Dr. René León Rosales, a distinguished Swedish-Chilean
and Salvadorean University Researcher and Professor, currently at Stockholm
University, engaged in multicultural settings and related subjects.

Basically, the first event is an introduction to launch the complete
program about the relevance of Paulo Freire's critical pedagogical legacy
to the 21st century via zoom, organized by CEMUS followed up on 30/9 and
every consecutive Thursday in October (15.15 - 17.00 Swedish time).

After conversing today with Sheila Ceccon at the IPF in São Paulo about
this program, we hope to enlist some of their experienced staff in our
program, already from the first meeting. We are also trying to reach CEAAL
(Rosy Zúñiga and Oscar Jara) and Carlos Rodríguez Brandão (UNICAMP) to join
    us.

The third planned events is a panel on October 7th (15.15 - 17.00) on
"Transformative Research and Education" with the authors of an
anthology/book to be published by Emerald (hopefully in January 2022) with
that title, who are able and wished to join us.

    Abrazos fraternales
    Azril
