The World Economic Forum (WEF) started today in Davos. More than 10 
years ago this summit of 'global economic and political elites' was one 
of the motivations to establish the World Social Forum, usually held 
around the same date, see:

This year the WSF has another date.

Mit mehrere aufeinander folgenden Flashmobs wird an diesem Tag das WEF 
und der Kapitalismus in der Berner Innenstadt angeprangert.

Auch dieses Jahr wird es in Davos die traditionelle Demonstration

geben. Sie wird wohl wieder am Rande des Dorfkerns durch Davos führen.
