Dear new and old friends,
Hello!
You were personal highlights from my short time at the Climate Change
Sweden Camp in Gothenburg. Now we are connected (and reconnected with Malin
Widehammar) via internet.
I am now fully recovered from 2 nearly sleepness nights in a row, mostly
inspired by meeting you (and about 200 participants at the camp) who
treated each other with respect, appreciation and inclusion. The closest
memory I had about similar experience is with an assembly of 15 Mayo in
Plaza del Sol in Madrid.
I arrived in time yesterday to sleep, shower and attend the beautiful and
solemn silent ceremony in Uppsala to honor the memory of the victims of
Hiroshima at 21.00 last night. It is high time to be nuclear-free as well
as fosil-free - and why not?: Adios a las Armas! - as Hemingway pleaded
from the front during the Spanish Civil War.
As I go on with my day, wished to honor our meeting, while the memory of
each and all of you is fresh in my mind and heart.
