News from Belem Expanded - 60 days to the forum
Belem expanded is allowing  to participate in wsf2009 without being
physically in Belem
WSF IC issued a call end september
( see :  link )
Since then,  many contacts have been made,  a faciltation group is
established,
and  Belem expanded  is visible in OpenFSM,

How is  belem expanded mobilization progressing ?
50 people are on the belem expanded mailing list and space :

20 fsm2009expanded spaces have been initiated  in america europe africa
middle east  ( and other are getting prepared)

400 activities have been registered In Belem indicating intentions to have
connections  (in many case with people "at home")

How will intercommunication  be made between Belem Expanded participants ?
in Belem, in the social territory , there is active work to allocate some
rooms with telephone and internet connection to belem expanded facilitation
group, to support simple chat audio video connections.
If accessible more sophisticated video conferencing will be used- we are
investigating
more about this in the coming weeks
(of course, also, two decentalized activities can connect independently
from Belem)

How to start participation in belem expanded ?
To get involved there  is no preliminary  registration
Just announce that  your organisation is  interested to participate in
belem expanded ,

For this, you are invited to  complete a text  announcement  exposing your
intentions and send it to Belem expanded mailing list,

nosso próximo boletim está a caminho. Esta semana estamos com problema com
as traduções para o ES e FR (o avô do Hélio faleceu e ele está em
Salvador), então sugiro como data para o fechamento dos textos a
sexta-feira (28), para envio na segunda (01/12).

Temos como pauta:
- FSM 2009 - inscrição de atividades culturais (texto pronto e traduzido,
do escritório de Belém)
- FSM 2009 - inscrição de imprensa (se estiver no ar até segunda)
- Belém Expandida (the IC call, again, the number of people registered for
Belem Exp in Belem and outside, and the invitation to start thinking about
activities? (if there's a good entry page in club-belemexpanded space in
openfsm, say "visit the page and join the space" (mailing list, list of
other activitites, support, information, meet other people outside belem
and in belme willing to particpate in belex, find partners  and pratical
indication on how to proceed)
- Convergências e aglutinações (existe um texto feito pelo grupo de enlace
chamado para as convergências espontâneas e avisando sobre os
facilitadores)
- Fóruns pelo mundo (algumas notinhas curtas)
