Belem expanded : on going preparation

Many organisaitons and activities registered in Belem FSM2009 have
expressed interest for  organizing moments of  live connection with
decentralized activities outside of belem or with groups of person in the
town they come from
tThese moments of connection can be during the activity slots or in any
other moment during the forum, taking into account the availability of
people in belem and in the other place connected to belem and the time
difference

Belem expanded facilitation team  is getting prepared to support some of
those  moments of live connection in Belem
It will propose support for simple live audio and live video chat
connections using "skype", but if you have other ideas in mind you can
express them

Using OpenFSM  for networking towards and after WSF2009

Already 600 people participant in WSF2009  and WSF process  have opened a
personal account in www.openfsm.net   and opened over a 100 spaces.some
spaces are working groups of WSF international council and commissions , or
of organizing committee of belem. A growing proportion are self organized
spaces initiated by participants

Each  "space" is autonomous and equipped with various tools for collective
activity : cooperatively edited pages, blog, mailing lists

OpenFSM is a public service for WSF expansion and continuity , provided by
Communication Commission.
It is based on a free software project with which cooperation is being
established , in order to improve the user interface and functionalities

in the coming weeks of december and early january , you can use openfsm to
"agglutinate" with other activities and make your activities more visible
to future participants in belem

-go to the space  "WSf2009 facilitators" ( link ) - and learn about the
methodology of WSF2009
-download parts of the wsf 2009 program , then look for activities close to
yours regarding content or objectives , and find some contacts
-write to those contacts and propose them to come together in a specific
agglutination space
-create this space invite them in and there interact and discuss about how
to transform the several stand alone activities you have in a synergize set
of activities
